Welcome and thanks for visiting! -

Welcome! We're glad you've come to visit. We are musicians who live and work on a ranch southeast of Colorado Springs. Our music reflects our life and our life is centered around our faith, our family, our love of the ranching life we are blessed to live and the amazing landscapes and people of which we have been a part. We are on the folk end of Cowboy/Western music, with a little blues and country added into the mix.

We are really happy with our CD "Land of the Columbine", which we finally released at the end of 2004. This recording is full of music reflecting our 10+ years living in the high country of Colorado.

"Dawn and Michael's intertwined voices are sweet of tone and pure of heart... the Moon's sound is soul-felt and authentic...

"Spiritual joy also lifts many of Michael Moon's lyrics... Moon's willingness to see beyond the mundane and express the magnificence of life within songs about natural beauty elevates his composition beyond that of the everyday singer-songwriter and into the realm of true poetry."

We have played guest ranches and Chamber of Commerce events, Cowboy Poetry Gatherings and the Pro Bull Riders finals in Las Vegas; but often our favorite venues are the smaller ones - brandings, church sanctuaries or quiet evenings by a fire.

We have had a lot of changes in the past few years, which has sometimes been stressful and made it hard to work on our music, but we are still trying!  We want to enjoy our blessed life – 4 little kids, a beautiful ranch to work on – what more can we ask?  Life is precious.  We continue to move slowly forward with our music and hope to see you along the road.

Have a look around. Come visit our blog.  You can listen to song clips from both albums here and buy one for yourself. Send us a note. And make sure to get on our mailing list if you’d like to know our news.

"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart."
Jeremiah 29:11-13
